Tajinder Singh Tiwana Protestors Detained Outside Mantralaya By Mumbai Police After Arnab's Arrest

 The president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Mumbai Mr. Tajinder Singh Tiwana is a progressive thinking, an energetic young leader hailing from Malad. He is a graduate of commerce and currently studying law.




 Since the age of a child, Tajinder is involved in social work since a young age. He was also instrumental in the development and execution of several successful programs for communal harmony and national integration in the Malad area.



 As a passionate social worker He is aware of the pulse of the locality and works in conjunction with the viewpoints of the community members who view their situation in the same way as his.



 He was a politician with the desire to help the people. He believes in leadership where it is said that the "Leader knows the way, goes the way and shows the way" hence that he leads from the front and keeps good relationships with everyone in his team.



 For Tajinder his late grandfather, Lieutenant Colonel Hari Singh Tiwana Ji is his ideal, who served within the Indian Navy. In the course of Covid pandemics that lasted several months, he remained working day and night helping the inhabitants of Mumbai He believes this is the greatest satisfaction that he has ever had.



 He is a member of a large family of social workers that are respected and have been working to improve the lives of Malad residents for over three decades.



 Both his parents Shri Satnam Singh Tiwana Ji as well as Smt Jaya Satnam Singh Tiwana Ji have served the people from Malad as Municipal Councillors.



 His mother Smt Jaya Tiwana who is currently an elected Municipal Councilor from Ward 47 also served as chairperson for the P/North Municipal Office for two term.



 His parents have dedicated their lives to helping others. Such upbringing molded Tajinder into a youth leader with a keen interest in social work.



 He is always working in tandem with his parents on resolving issues in the ward to ensure the benefit of all people.



 When he was appointed President of BJYM in 2019, his responsibilities widened beyond the confines of Malad to encompass the entire city of Mumbai that he is doing with the same zeal, and creating strong examples for younger leaders who will follow.
