 President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Mumbai Mr. Tajinder Singh Tiwana has a forward thinking, and a vibrant youth leader from Malad. He is a graduate of commerce and is currently working towards a graduation in law.

 Since the age of a child, Tajinder is involved in social work. He also played a key role in establishing and implementing numerous successful programs to promote harmony along with national integration throughout the Malad area.

 As a passionate social worker he understands the pulse of the locality and works in conjunction with the viewpoints of the people who see their circumstances as his own.

 He was a politician with the desire to help the people. He believes in leadership in which there is a "Leader knows the way, goes the way and shows the way" therefore he is a leader from the front and has good relations with everyone in his team.

 For Tajinder his late grandfather, Lieutenant Colonel Hari Singh Tiwana Ji is his model, having served as a member of the Indian Navy. When he was battling the Covid pandemics for many months remained working day and night helping the residents of Mumbai, which he feels is the most rewarding achievement of his life.

 He is a member of a large family of highly respected social workers who have been working to improve the lives of Malad residents for more than three decades.

 His parents Shri Satnam Singh Tiwana Ji as well as Smt Jaya Satnam Singh Tiwana Ji had served the people of Malad in the capacity of Municipal Councillors.

 His mother Smt Jaya Tiwana who is currently an elected Municipal Councilor from Ward 47 been the Chairperson of the P/North Municipal Office for two term.

 His parents have devoted their lives to social service. This has shaped Tajinder to become a leader for youth with a keen interest in social work.

 He works continuously together with his parents in resolving issues in the ward to ensure the well-being of everyone.

 As he was elected President of BJYM in 2019, his responsibilities widened beyond the confines of Malad to all of Mumbai, which he is shouldering with equal zeal and making a mark for new leaders of tomorrow.
