The president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Mumbai Mr. Tajinder Singh Tiwana is a progressive thinking, a spirited young leader hailing from Malad. He graduated from the college of commerce and is currently pursuing a degree in law.
From the earliest old age Tajinder participates in community activities. He also played a key role in establishing and implementing numerous successful programs to promote harmony and integration of the nation in the Malad region.
As a passionate social worker He is aware of the pulse of the community and is able to work in conjunction with the viewpoints of community members who see their needs to be his personal.
He entered politics with the intention of serving the people. The man believes that leadership is a virtue in which there is a "Leader knows the way, goes the way and shows the way" so he is a leader from the front and has good relationships with the other members of his team.
For Tajinder his father, his grandfather late Lieutenant-Commander Hari Singh Tiwana Ji is his ideal. He was a member as a member of the Indian Navy. While fighting the Covid pandemic that lasted for years and decades, Tajinder was completely engaged day and night helping the inhabitants from Mumbai that he believes as the most satisfying accomplishment that he has ever had.
He is part of a group of highly respected social workers who have been working to improve the wellbeing of Malad residents for more than three decades.
His grandparents Shri Satnam Singh Tiwana Ji as well as Smt Jaya Satnam Singh Tiwana Ji have served the people in Malad by serving as municipal councillors.
His mother, Smt Jaya Tiwana who is currently a Municipal councillor elected from Ward 47 also been the Chairman of the P/North Municipal Office for two terms.
His parents have devoted all their time to social service. The influence of their upbringing has made Tajinder into a leader for youth with a keen interest in social work.
He is always working in tandem with his parents on resolving issues of the ward to ensure the wellbeing of the people.
In his election as the President of BJYM in the year 2019 the responsibilities of BJYM have expanded beyond the borders of Malad to all of Mumbai and he has taken on with equal enthusiasm, and leaving an imprint for the next generation of leadership to emulate.
