Tajinder Singh Tiwana

 President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Mumbai Mr. Tajinder Singh Tiwana has a forward thinking, and a vibrant youthful leader who hails from Malad. He is a graduate of commerce and is currently working towards a graduation in law.

 Since the age of a child, Tajinder is involved in social work since a young age. He also played a key role in the development and execution of several successful programs to foster harmony and national integration in the Malad region.

 As a social worker with a passion, He knows the pulse the community and works in concert with the opinions of those who are considering their circumstances as his own.

 He entered politics with the desire to help the people. He believes in leadership , where the "Leader knows the way, goes the way and shows the way" hence his leadership style is front-line and maintains good relations with all the members of his team.

 For Tajinder his father, his late grandfather Lieutenant Commander Hari Singh Tiwana Ji is his ultimate, and he served with the Indian Navy. In the course of Covid pandemics that lasted many months was completely engaged day and night helping the inhabitants of Mumbai and believes it is the greatest satisfaction of his life.

 He belongs to a family of highly respected social workers who are working for the welfare of Malad residents for more than three decades.

 His grandparents Shri Satnam Singh Tiwana Ji as well as Smt Jaya Satnam Singh Tiwana Ji had served the residents from Malad by serving as municipal councilors.

 His mother, Smt Jaya Tiwana who is currently a Municipal councilor elected from Ward - 47 had also served as Chairman of the P/North Municipal Office for two terms.

 His parents have devoted their lives to helping others. Through this, they helped mold Tajinder into a young leader with a keen interest in social work.

 He is continuously working in tandem with his parents to solve issues in the ward to ensure the welfare of people.

 As he was elected the President of BJYM in 2019 the responsibilities of BJYM have expanded beyond the confines of Malad to the entirety of Mumbai that he is carrying out with equal enthusiasm, leaving a strong impression for the new young leaders to follow.
