Tajinder Singh Tiwana

The president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Mumbai Mr. Tajinder Singh Tiwana is a progressive thinking, a spirited young leader hailing from Malad. He graduated in commerce and currently studying law.

 From a young old age Tajinder has been involved with social activities. He also played a key role in the creation and implementation of numerous successful programs to promote harmony and integration of the nation in the Malad region.

 Being a social worker who is enthusiastic, He knows the pulse of his community and is able to work in conjunction with the opinions of community members who see their needs in the same way as his.

 He was a politician in order to serve the people. In his opinion, leadership should be a priority, where it is said that the "Leader knows the way, goes the way and shows the way" therefore he is a leader from the front and has good relationships with everyone in his team.

 He is part of a group of social workers with a reputation for excellence who have been working to improve the well-being of Malad residents for more than three decades.

 His grandparents Shri Satnam Singh Tiwana Ji as well as Smt Jaya Satnam Singh Tiwana Ji have served the people in Malad in the capacity of Municipal Councillors.

 His mother, Smt Jaya Tiwana who is currently an elected municipal councillor from Ward 47 also held the position of Chairman of the P/North Municipal Office for two terms.

 His parents have devoted the entirety of their life to social work. The influence of their upbringing has made Tajinder into a young leader with a keen interest in social work.

 He is always working in tandem with his parents to solve issues in the ward for the benefit of all people.

 In his election as the President of BJYM in the year 2019 His responsibilities have expanded beyond the borders of Malad to all of Mumbai that he is tackling with the same enthusiasm and leaving a strong impression for the next generation of leader to model.
